Looking for a different and fun way to connect with your daughter? This book club could be for you.

Enjoy food, coffee, chocolate and books at Coco Monde Café (Darby Street). Each month we'll read, discuss and have fun with a novel that you'll BOTH enjoy.

Perfect for girls in years 5 - 8 and adults (mother, grandma, friends).

Coffee, drinks and treats can be purchased at the café.

Free. Bookings essential for all attendees.

Tuesday 8 August, 4pm - 5pm
Parvana by Deborah Ellis - The inspiring story of a young girl growing up in Afghanistan as she struggles to make a life for herself and her family under the harsh rule of the Taliban.

Tuesday 12 September, 4pm - 5pm
Sister Heart by Sally Morgan - A heart-wrenching story of the stolen generation. An Honours Book in the 2016 Children's Book Council Book of the Year.

Tuesday 10 October, 4pm - 5pm
Once by Morris Gleitzman - Once the first in a series of children's novels about Feliz, a Jewish orphan cauight in the middle of the Holocaust.
