Description

Join us for this exciting free seminar to learn more about Tomatis. The Tomatis Method is a non-invasive approach for both children and adults, which primes the brain's 'hearing and listening' capabilities through a process of retraining the auditory nerve. The Tomatis Method may help to support behavioural, emotional and language difficulties, particularly in individuals with the following:

  • Dyslexia
  • ADD
  • Learning and emotional difficulties
  • Motor skill challenges
  • Poor balance and/or coordination
  • Auditory processing challenges
  • Sensory integration challenges
  • Memory or motivation challenges
  • Speech delay
  • Low confidence and/or creativity

Presented by:

Emma White B.Ed (Hon), M.Ed (Guidance Counselling) - Tomatis Sound Integration Practitioner

About the speaker:
Emma graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2013 with a Masters of Education in Guidance Counselling. After more than 10 years of working in the public education sector and completion of her Masters, she realized there was a gap in the available options to support children with behavioural, emotional and language difficulties. This in turn affected their educational outcomes and more importantly their ability to function in day-to-day life.

To compliment her skills of working as a guidance officer, counsellor and educator, Emma has trained as a practitioner in the Tomatis Method, a non-invasive approach to supporting a wide range of developmental issues, particularly in children. The Tomatis Method has gained international recognition and is validated by evidence based research in the support of individuals diagnosed with, but not limited to, Auditory Processing Disorders (APD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Sensory Integration (SI).

With a passion for holistic health and wellbeing, Emma strives to expose and educate on low-toxic living, active lifestyles, whole-foods and a balanced self.

Free carparking is available in local nearby streets.
