Having you recently volunteered your time as a committee of management member in an early childhood service? Or have you been involved for years? Have you wondered what is involved in being a committee member? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then this session is for you!

As a committee of management member there are a variety of importing things you need to know about your education and care service. Familiarising yourself with the landscape of your service will assist in developing effective policies and procedures of service management and operation. In this session you will: identify legislative and regulatory obligations and requirements with respect to the National Quality Framework; learn what you need to know about your unique service and how to find more information; understand how the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is implemented and the reporting and compliance requirements under the Commonwealth funding agreement; gather resources available to support committees in their function.
