Course Overview
‘Getting the best value from Balanced Scorecards’ is a three day interactive workshop designed to help executives and management teams get the best value from an existing scorecard system. It is focused on the development of scorecard management systems and the internal resources and mechanisms necessary for success. The workshop will also be of great value to staff who are involved in the initial development and implementation of a scorecard system.

The course is based on the Balanced Scorecard Institute’s award winning Nine Steps to Success™ framework and thousands of hours of consulting and training experience in the use of scorecards and KPIs to improve organisational performance. The emphasis is on gaining understanding of the processes that are used and learning about current best practices.

Building effective Balanced Scorecard Systems (Steps 3-5)

The importance and use of Objective Commentaries
Developing Performance Measures and Targets

Module IV:
Implementation – Getting it Right (Steps 6-9)

Learning Approach

The 3 day workshop is a ‘hands-on’ training program. It will use client examples and a detailed case study organisation to demonstrate the necessary underpinning knowledge for developing successful balanced scorecard and KPI systems. There will be extensive hands-on sessions in small groups to practice developing strategy maps, objective commentaries, performance measures, strategic initiatives and scorecard management systems (applying what has been learned).
