Description

Getting Published in Top Tier Journals: An Incremental Approach

Universities and individual faculty both benefit enormously from publications in high-prestige academic journals. However, high rates of rejection – and accompanying sense of intimidation – discourage many faculty from submitting to such outlets. Professor Weaver, who has a long history of publication in high tier journals, believes that success can be achieved through careful sequential and incremental attention to the diverse factors that collectively influence the eventual acceptance of manuscripts, from outlet selection to the responses made to reviewers’ comments. Anyone who is interested in progressing their career as an internationally recognised researcher should attend this dynamic (and slightly irreverent) presentation.
