GETTING GIRLS IN 2020
Date and time
The AFL Outer East & Eastern Health - Health Promotion present Getting Girls In
About this event
The AFL Outer East & Eastern Health have partnered to deliver this free event for local club members of all levels to gain the necessary knowledge and skills in forming girl's and women's football teams.
As the 2020 season is fast approaching this workshop leads on from 2019's successful Getting Girls In event held in June. This follow up will provide an opportunity for clubs to network and reflect on how they are going with their recruitment and preparation moving into the season.
Arrive from 5:45pm to witness an insight into how the Eastern Ranges Girls train.
What follows:
- Due to unforeseen circumstances AFLW North Melbourne defense coach Nick Rutley will not be able to attend
- Hear about AFL Victoria's She Can Coach Program
- Hear from local club presidents, coaches and players including Patsy Boxell (2019 ERWFL Coach of the Year) on what works best in female footy
- An opportunity for clubs to network
Supper and tea & coffee provided.
We will finish up by 8pm.
All welcome.
