In this session, you will learn about the Deakin University Student Association (DUSA). Finish your OWeek off by meeting DUSA student representatives, hearing about Clubs and Societies, DUSA services and events while meeting other students.
DUSA is run by students, for students, providing a range of services, activities, and opportunities that enrich your time at Deakin and help to build a supportive, dynamic and inclusive community.
DUSA runs a student bookshop, offers independent advocacy, legal aid, deliver a range of events for all ages, short courses, trips, sporting teams, as wells as a broad range of clubs and societies that you can join.
At the end of this session, students will:
- Have a good understanding of DUSA student representation, opportunities and experiences
- Be comfortable navigating DUSA website, bookshop and resources
- Have a good understanding of DUSA Clubs and Societies and how to join
