About the course
Creative ideas to integrate iPads into your existing Primary Music, Art and Drama programs. While there is a focus on Primary aged students, there are strategies and ideas that could easily be used in Secondary classes and subjects outside of CAPA.
Learn how to use iPads as an effective teaching and learning tool in the 21st Century classroom with effective assessments, creative tasks, collaboration and higher-order thinking.
Explore the use of iPads in a hands-on environment.
Includes excellent resources and lesson plans linked to NSW syllabus outcomes.
Completing Get Creative with iPads - Integrating iPads into your CAPA Programs - Primary Focus will contribute 5 hours of QTC Registered PD addressing 2.6.2, 3.4.2, 4.5.2 and 5.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
What should I bring to the event?
An iPad, preferably with the most recent IOS update and the following apps (this is not essential but will help you get the most of the hands-on help on the day):
Pages and/or Keynote
Color Effect or photo editing app
Brushes and/or Sketches
There are no refunds for tickets, but a ticket for a subsequent course will be offered.
