Give your old clothes new life through slow stitching and mindful repairing.
About this event
Whether you are mending old clothes or up-cycling new ones, it is helpful to know how to wield a running stich and other practical yet artful techniques. Learn about the art of visible mending and its history of boro stitching in Japan and how to use these skills in creative ways to repurpose textiles.
This accessible practice is a mindfulness-based approach to crafting. Explore the edges of your creativity and be inspired by colour, texture and technique through visible mending.
