Express Yourself: Create a Personalised Patch from Upcycled Fabric

In this 2-hour hands-on workshop, you'll create a personalized patch from upcycled fabric using simple embroidery and embellishment techniques.


Whether you're exploring identity, celebrating what matters to you, or simply want to make something uniquely yours, you'll leave with a completed patch ready to add to your favourite jacket, bag, or jeans.


What you'll learn:

  • Basic embroidery stitches for creating shapes and text
  • Adding embellishments like beads, buttons, and gemstones
  • Using paint pens for color and design
  • Ideas for how attach your finished patch to clothing or accessories


Optional: Bring a jacket, bag, or jeans to attach your patch during the workshop.


For adults.


Cost:

$8.50 per ticket.

Age:

Adults aged 16+.

Skill level:

No prior art experience is needed.

Equipment:

All materials and equipment will be provided.


About the Facilitator:

This workshop is facilitated by local artist Mary-Helen Daly. She is a qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist & Counsellor who helps people reclaim joy in their daily lives through creativity.
