Event description
Learn how to keep your computer running efficiently, and how to remove viruses and malware.

About this event

You likely store important photos and documents on your computer. You may even do your banking and shopping online. What would happen if your computer broke down or it had a virus?

It's important to have a system in place to maintain the upkeep of your computer. Think of it as a regular car service. The amount of time and money to replace or repair your computer can be far greater than the time spent in maintaining it.

In this session you'll learn:

  • how to keep your computer running efficiently and safe
  • how to remove viruses and malware,
  • some basic routine maintenance tasks you can perform on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Suitable for all Mac and Windows computer users. Presented by Stay In Touch.

Bookings required. Every person attending the event must be registered with a ticket for contact tracing purposes.

This is a COVID-Safe event and Victorian Government public health requirements apply. QR code check-in, physical distancing and regular hand sanitisation are required. Face masks must be carried at all times and worn (unless a lawful exemption applies). Please stay home if you're unwell, have been a close contact of someone unwell or awaiting results of a Coronavirus test.
