Gerringong Falls ~ Nellies Glen Falls ~ Carrington Falls Hike & Picnic // Sun Feb 24th 9.00am - 5.30pm

JOIN US: On this breathtaking full day ~ 3 Falls Hike to Gerringong Falls ~ Nellies Glen Falls ~ Carrington Falls & Budderoo National Park & picnic 22.4km approx.

Ever swam at the top of a 180mtr waterfall? Well here you can do it.

Take a dip in the crisp clear water of Gerringong Creek, so refreshing after hiking through the amazing heathland & forest, enjoy the serenity that is the beauty of private group hiking. Experience water dragons, birdlife, wallabies, platypuses & much more........

We are so excited to host this event which is suitable for everyone with an adventurous spirit.

Featuring: Lush Forested Areas, Historic Areas, Heathland, Waterfalls, Wildlife, Morning Tea, Picnic Lunch, Hiking, Wild Swimming, Great Company.

Distance: Gerringong Falls Track ~ 19km return approx

Distance: Carrington Falls ~ 1km return

Distance: Nellies Glen Falls Track ~ 2.4km return

Grade: Moderate ~ suitable if you can walk a distance of 12km or more you will have no trouble

Terrain: Track is 80% graded fire trail slight inclines, nothing too steep, walking along creeks your shoes may become wet if we have had a lot of rain, slippery rocks, puddles if raining.

Driving: Jamberoo Town is approximately 1hr 50mins from the CBD & 1hr from the Sutherland Shire

What's Included: Morning tea & light picnic lunch, qualified guide, first aid, safety briefing, tour, licensing, navigation


MEET: 9.00am at Jamberoo Pub Car Park ~ 12 Allowrie St Jamberro

  • Meeting at Jamberoo Pub Car Park, we car pool up Jamberoo Mountain Rd to Budderoo National Park. Parking at Budderoo National Park car park we commence the first part of tour, hiking 8km out to Gerringong Falls.

  • Reaching the end of our track we travel along beside Gerringong Creek for about 500mtrs following the winding trail till we reach the blue pools at the top of the falls. Views abound, simply breathtaking. Stopping here you can have yourself a wonderfully exhilerationg wild swim in the pools or simply chill in the ZEN that surrounds you. Morning tea will be served with some time for photos.

  • Returning back along the track to our cars, we drive approximately another 16km to our picnic lunch spot & 2nd stop of the day.

  • Finding a suitable location at Carrington Falls we enjoy a delicious light picnic lunch at the top of the falls. Blissfully relaxing listening to the falls. Perfect !!!

  • "Love Wild Swimming"? we do & our lunch spot does not dissapoint. Pop yourself into the clear waters & waterholes lay yourself under one of the many waterfalls, simply bliss !!

  • Packing ourselves up we head out to our 3rd stop of the day. Nellies Glen Falls. Soak up the oxygen laden air while being soothed by the sounds of nearby waterfalls. Relax in the shade of the magnificent eucalyptus forest or take a dip.

  • Swim in the waters of this mineral pool wade out to the falls, feel the water rush over you. Its such a magical place, emerging from the water your will absolutely feel how relaxed your muscles feel. That is why we leave this spot for last.

  • Taking one last look at this beautiful pool we make our way back to the car for the drive back to Jamberoo Pub & drop off our fellow travellers. Arriving back approximately 5.30pm

  • OPTIONAL Dinner & Drinks at Jamberoo Pub ~ this is at your own expense. Nice way to finish off the day before the drive home

You Need To Bring:

  • 2ltrs water

  • Bag with spare dry clothes ~ can be left in the car to chang into when we are finished

  • Comfortable Hiking boots, Joggers or trail shoes ( no sandals or strappy shoes ) bring reef walkers or closed in old shoes for swimming in the waterholes, this saves any injury.

  • Personal Meds

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunhat

  • Towel

  • Swimmers

  • Walking Poles ~ OPTIONAL

  • Camera

  • Layers ( it can become cold sometimes even in summer if your wet for a long time )

  • Rain Jacket - ( event is on in the rain )


We provide a refund less $45 admin & license fee up to 15 days before event, a refund of 50% of the amount will be given 7 - 15 days before event. There is no refund given with less than 7 days notice before event, due to catering, licensing & tour costs that we have to pay from our end. Your ticket however may be transferred to another person who wishes to join us.

If we have to cancel event due to dangerous weather conditions or bush fire you will be notified the night before or early morning of event & a choice to reshedule or a full refund will be given.
