Generation Z (born since 1995) is coming of age. They are now prime candidates for public sector graduate recruiting, casting their first votes and becoming new users of core Government services. But the rules of effectively engaging with Generation Z have evolved from the Millennials that preceded them. For a generation who have only ever known an environment of volatility, the pervasiveness of global terrorism and the value of anonymous online referrals: How and why are they consuming media - and different digital and social platforms specifically? What are their triggers for engagement? What are their expectations from an ongoing conversation with the public sector? And ultimately, what motivates them to take action?
At this event, we will share exclusive data on Australia and New Zealand digital media usage and what it means for government communicators - particularly those engaging audiences 21 years and younger. I look forward to seeing you at our next event, where we'll also share insights from some of the world's leading public sector recruiters on how they are engaging Generation Z.
