GenAI 301 Data Analysis
Overview
Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is one of the newest and most powerful tools in the researcher toolbox, however many academics feel uncertain about the ethics and practicality of using GenAI in their everyday workflow.
Our GenAI workshop series is returning in 2026 and expanding with new workshops covering the skills needed to analyse data.
This session will focus on the process of using AI for data analysis. By the end of this workshop learners will be able to:
- Describe the process of a data analysis pipeline;
- Describe strategies to use AI to support data analysis, and their tradeoffs;
- Apply AI strategies using text-based AI tools.
This is building on the 100 and 200 series we have previously delivered and we recommend attending them first to understand the basics before these.
