Join us for our final clinical evening meeting for the year!

We are very excited to announce our speakers Professor Alan Cripps & Dr Nic West who will be speaking on the topic 'Developing a Covid-19 vaccine'.

Professor Allan Cripps is Pro Vice Chancellor for Health at Griffith University. He has a distinguished career as both a clinical scientist in the hospital setting, as well as in academia. He is a fellow of the Australian Society for Microbiology, the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists and the Institute of Biomedical Science in the UK. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management.

Prof Cripps had almost 20 years experience in the health and pharmaceutical industries before becoming a full-time academic. Drawing on his earlier work on the development of immunity in children and immune mechanisms, he has been able to make a significant contribution to the field of immunology, including being co-inventor on a number of international patents in the fields of diagnostic technology and vaccine protein antigens for respiratory infections.

6:30pm arrival for 7pm start.
