Gault&Millau is bringing the highly successful trade only Mise en Place event to Brisbane for the first year. Mise en Place is a global intitative that connects restaurant professionals with Australia's world-class producers and suppliers with a heavy focus on education and demonstrations from leading industry professionals from the area.

The first Brisbane Mise en Place event will feature premium exhibitors and appearances from some of Brisbane's top chefs including Chef Richard Ousby (Stokehouse), Chef Will Cowper (Otto), Chef Ryan Squires (Esquire) and Josh Lopez (QAGOMA) as well as the announcement of the 2018 awards finalists.

Who should come to Mise en Place?
Mise en Place is a trade-only event for senior Chefs, Sommeliers, Restaurant Managers, Bar Managers, restaurateurs and senior front-of-house hospitality professionals.

What makes Mise en Place different to the other trade shows?
Mise en Place is designed to be a unique and intimate event. Gault&Millau has selected high-quality suppliers and producers to give you the opportunity to discover the latest products and engage one-on-one with the brands.

How much do tickets cost?
Entry to Mise en Place is FREE for hospitality professionals. All guests must register for the event with their place of business and role.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
After registration, you will receive your free e-ticket by email. You can bring an electronic or print copy to the event. We will scan your ticket on entry.

How do I register for the masterclasses?
Masterclasses are strictly limited to 24 guests. Tickets for the hands-on master classes will be released in the coming weeks.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You may be required to present ID upon entry with your ticket registration. Due to the service of alcohol, this is an 18+ event; we apologise for any inconvenience.
