Event description

Description

The Gateway to Industry Schools Program (GISP) for Manufacturing and Engineering is proud to partner with industry champions, Victor Vicario from Arc Hardware Incubator and William Pagnon from Freelance Robotics to offer you this 'behind the scenes' industry insight into Advanced Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.

Aimed at Engineering high school Teachers, on this Gateway Day you'll be immersed in the design, prototype and commercilisation manufacturing process. Find out how robotics and technology is changing the manufacturing industry and why we need more engineers.

Spend some time with robotics and mechatronics specialists who can answer all your questions and take you through hands on demonstrations.

Discover how technology, automation and robotics is affecting the manufacturing and engineering industries. What skills are required by designers, process workers and tradies into the future? How can we help? A networking opportunity will be provided at the end of the session to discuss with colleagues how to apply the learnings in the classroom.

This event can contribute to the QCT professional learning requirements. A certificate of attendance will be issued.
