Event description

Description

Do you enjoy gardening? Do you love nature? How about creating gardens for wildlife? Come along to an evening workshop session full of advice on enabling native animals to thrive at your place, and why this is so beneficial.

This will also be a forum to share ideas on how we can encourage other community members to join in with the inspiring Gardens for Wildlife program.

Council’s new Fauna of Hume field guide will also be officially launched at the end of the workshop, including mammals, frogs and reptiles that live in Hume, as a companion publication to the very popular Birds of Hume. Free copies of both field guides will be available.

Light refreshments will be offered from 6pm onwards. The forum will start at 6.30pm and we will endeavour to finish by 8.30pm.
