Gardening the Neighbourhood
This session will explore the connection between horticulture and local neighbourhood. How can our garden environment and learning experiences connect with our locality ? Can we design our services to model connection and even develop a harvest exchange? How can we participate in the restoration of land currently underutilised in services and nearby? You will be inspired to explore the potential of building horticultural connections in your local community and will be provided with the tools to get started.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain an understanding of neighbourhood horticulture connection
- Learn how to develop a community produce exchange.
- Find out about community horticulture groups and other resources.
