Gardening for Habitat and Biodiversity – Frogs and Fish
Sat, November 12, 2016, 10:30 AM – 1:15 PM AEDT
Following the great success of our Gardening for Habitat and Biodiversity events at La Trobe Wildlife Sanctuary in autumn, we are running a new workshop in the series. The focus this time is frogs, fish and critters that need a bit of water.
As our cities come under increasing development pressure, maximizing the habitat value of our gardens and open space becomes a conservation priority.
Event includes a workshop with a champion Sanctuary ecologist and a guided walk through the sanctuary - one of our most significant natural assets.
The walk takes about 50minutes so please bring good walking shoes (no sandals or thongs) and clothes suitable for the weather conditions.
Morning tea is provided. Take home a free native plant.
Saturday 12th November, 10.30am to 1.15pm
La Trobe Wildlife Sanctuary, La Trobe Ave, Bundoora.
