Event description

Description

Do you dream of a relaxing garden with low maintenance indigenous plants, butterflies and native bees buzzing gently while you read a book, or watch your children explore as they become mini scientists? Come and learn how you can achieve this at your home. The Cities of Banyule and Darebin are providing 50 lucky residents with a free workshop to learn about Gardening for Biodiversity, as well as a guided tour of the LaTrobe Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can learn about local wildlife and relax in a peaceful indigenous landscape. With your new knowledge you can impress your friends with facts about possums, bats and echidnas.

Places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Please bring a hat, sunscreen and water bottle and wear closed shoes and long pants.
