Description

If you’d like to learn ideas and recipes on how to preserve seasonal fruit and vegetables at home, then this workshop is for you. In this workshop, participants will learn the benefits of preserving food like saving money, including a wider variety of food in their diets, building self-reliance and reducing food waste and packaging.

Come along and learn the basics of preserving your food. You’ll also taste a variety of preserves made by Chef Gerry. Great for beginners to get all the hints and tips on how to make jams, preserves, butters or savoury pickles and chutneys.

These sustainable workshops are funded by Campbelltown City Council with the goal of increasing environmental stewardship within the Campbelltown community.
