Description

A 1-Hour School Holiday Activity introducing Physical Computing

All Ages 7+ years Introduction to Physical Computing with Video Game Electronics!
{
Under 10's will require parental supervision.}

Gizmo Cats STEM Learning - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics - using a Raspberry Pi computer to gain a basic understanding of ‘Physical Computing'. Physical Computing means building interactive physical systems by the use of software and hardware that can sense and respond to the real world.

Learn by doing a fun hands-on physical activity making a working push-button switch to decorate and take home. Interface the push-button to the Raspberry Pi computer’s input/output wiring to drive a Scratch video game character. Instead of children being limited to playing yet another video game, they can colour, re-animate, and program the game through simple Scratch block coding.

Limited space, booking essential. Cost $28
