What is the format of the event?

Accepted Answer

The event is structured as a reverse job fair. Graduates will be stationed at tables, showcasing their individual and/or team projects. Speak to as many graduates as possible during the event will ensure you get the greatest exposure to the range of skills the graduates have to offer.

What is the demographics of GA graduates?

Accepted Answer

Our graduates are mostly mid career switchers with prior work experience.  They are looking for paid employment, apprenticeship roles, and many are open to either/both. Please discuss your preferences for hiring graduates as you meet them.

Question 3

Will I receive a copy of the graduates' profiles?

Accepted Answer

You will receive a softcopy version at the event. We will also email you a copy of their profiles following the event so that you can continue the conversation with the graduates.

Question 4

Do I need to register for the event?

Accepted Answer

We will to provide the best experience for both employers and graduates.

Please register your attendance if you are coming. You are required to show your Eventbrite ticket upon arrival.

If more than one person from your company is coming, please register the other attendees too.

Question 5

Do I need to stay throughout the event?

Accepted Answer

All of the candidates are expected to stay during the entire event, but you are free to drop in for as long as your schedule permits. However, we encourage you to allocate sufficient time so that you can engage with as many candidates as possible.

Are refreshments provided?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We know that you may need to take breaks in between all the engagements, we have prepared lights snacks and drinks for you.

What do I need to bring?

- Business cards 
- Note-taking materials 
- Business marketing collateral (ie. if you are recruiting for a training program)

What if I cannot make it to the event?

Can I interview the graduates on the spot?

Accepted Answer

We will strongly encourage you to arrange a separate date and time for a formal interview, because we hope that both employers (and graduates) get to interact with as many graduates (and employers) as possible.
