This November, we're bringing together two of our most popular events:
- FWD, the conference run by and for digital campaigners, now in its fifth year; AND
- Organise, our event for community, industrial, grassroots and relational organisers.
Held over two days, with more than forty sessions, we'll showcase the best organising projects and digital campaigns from across Australia and the globe and debrief the Australian and US Elections with the people who lead and delivered the best work. We're inviting corporate digital marketers and the folks who've really nailed decentralised organising to give us their perspectives, and as always, we'll all learn from each other,
We've invited leading international organisers and digital gurus from all over the world, and we're incredibly excited to announce our first international speakers:
- Jenna Lowenstein, our most popular speaker from FWD 2014 is now Digital Director for Hillary for America, and we're delighted she's agreed to return so soon after the election and tell the story of her history-making work; and
- Michael Whitney, Digital Fundraising Manager for Bernie 2016, whose groundbreaking email and social media campaigning drove the record-breaking fundraising that powered Bernie Sanders' insurgent campaign for the democratic nomination.
We plan full plenary sessions that break down the false divide between digital and field, as well as breakouts, workshops, skillshares and failshares for people who are already experts to further deepen their organising or digital skills.//
