Description

Jobs Queensland is currently undertaking a research project considering what the future of work means for employment and skills policy in Queensland.

You are invited to join the conversation about the future of work and what it could look like over the next decade and beyond for Queenslanders and our economy.

We are interested in hearing from a range of people and organisations across industry, business, the community and education and training in Cairns and surrounds.

To help facilitate the conversation, we have released The Future of Work in 2030 – Evolution or revolution? discussion paper.

The paper poses a range of questions about how key drivers of social change are shaping how we work, the structure of work, employment relationships, and how we can provide access to the skills and training needed for the jobs of the future.

While there is a wealth of national and international research on the future of work, there is much less research specific to Queensland. Understanding the Queensland context will be key to identifying solutions and planning for an inclusive future for all Queenslanders.

More information on how you can be involved in the Future of Work project can be found on our website at www.jobsqueensland.qld.gov.au/projects/future-of-work/.
