Flora Salim is the Deputy Director of the RMIT Centre for Information Discovery and Data Analytics (CIDDA). She leads the Context Recognition and Urban Intelligence group in CIDDA. A/Prof. Flora Salim is an expert in context-aware situational intelligence and spatio-temporal analysis, specifically in human mobility tracking, context and behaviour modelling, time-series prediction, and cross-domain data fusion and learning. She has received numerous awards for her work, including Humboldt Fellow for experienced researcher, Victoria Fellow 2018 (awarded by the Victorian government), the RMIT Vice-Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence ? Early Career Researcher 2016; the RMIT Award for Research Impact - Technology 2018; Victorian iAwards (2014), Australian Research Council (ARC) Postdoctoral Research Industry Fellow (2012-2015); IBM Smarter Planet Industry Skills Innovation Award (2010); and a Google Anita Borg Scholar (2008).

Charles Allen is the Head of NSW and ACT for Uber (rides operations). In this role he works with government and businesses to help help deliver safe, reliable and affordable transport options. Charles' prior experience includes management consulting and trading. He spent five years working for the Boston Consulting Group in Sydney and London, and four years as a derivatives trader with Nomura in London. Charles studied at the University of Oxford and has a Masters in Physics and Philosophy.

Andrew Lucas is the founder and Managing Director of AOS and of its subsidiary in Cambridge, UK. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering from Cambridge University, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Hons) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has over forty years of experience in various engineering roles in aerospace & defence, management consulting, robotic systems, agricultural technology, artificial intelligence software, and telecommunications.

Andrew started in the aerospace industry in an aircraft design team, and then on aero engines with Rolls-Royce, Derby. He has nearly thirty years’ experience in the technology of Artificial Intelligence and Software Agents and their applications in autonomous systems and robotics.

Andrew is a board member of the Australian Association of Unmanned Systems and is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Unmanned Air Systems Specialist Group.

David Somek is an Associate Director at Deloitte Access Economics who specialises in urban economics. I have a passion for understanding how we live, work and play in the urban environment with the ultimate goal of enhancing the prosperity and liveability of our cities and regional centres. My core focus is in the areas of urban and regional planning, industry development, housing affordability, infrastructure, transport and social participation – unique areas bound together through a common theme of economic geography.
