Event description

Description

Will our jobs as healthcare professionals ever be taken over by artificial intelligence? How will technology and engineering affect patient outcomes? What will our healthcare workforce look like by 2030, and by 2050? What can I do to be prepared?

Join us on the 3rd of October at 6:30 pm as we explore our fate as doctors and patients, and how we should prepare ourselves for the inevitable future. ‘Future of Medicine’, in this single, fast-paced and unmissable event, will permanently change the way you see the future of healthcare, inviting key leaders of our era including:

• Professor Erwin Loh, Chief Medical Officer of Monash Health, discussing the future of artificial intelligence and its implications on our workforce

• Professor Jeffrey Rosenfeld AM, OBE, Director at Monash Institute of Medical Engineering and inventor of the Bionic Eye, on innovation for the future of biomedical engineering

• Dr Jarrel Seah, Founder of Eyenaemia, inspecting the future of phone applications as a diagnostic/screening tool

Change yourself before the future changes you.
