Estimated to be worth A$12.3 billion dollars in 2014-15, the Australian pre-fabricated building industry is forecast to grow by 3% annually until 2020. The appetite and capacity for ‘manufactured’ methodologies for building is expanding internationally and presents a lucrative opportunity for construction and advanced manufacturing businesses in South Australia.
Returning for Open State in 2016, Future Forum : Modulation, will bring together experts from within government, construction, manufacturing and design sectors to facilitate a strategic and collaborative discussion where opportunities and benefits for the state will be mapped out.
Curated by Jack Hobbs McConnell Travelling Fellow in Architecture, Dino Vrynios, Future Forum : Modulation will include keynote addresses from leading industry proponents as well as a forum format discussion to understand the market and identify specific actions that will enable the State to participate.
