Event description

Description

Founding editor of The Saturday Paper, Erik Jensen will discuss the pluses and minuses of digital technologies. What is the current state of traditional media with the rise of digital technologies and communications? What are the effects of digital technologies on individuals? What are the benefits of social media and digital platforms, and how can we use them to build a more positive future and collaborate together? What might the future of media and communications look like?

Erik Jensen is the founding editor of The Saturday Paper. His first book, Acute Misfortune: The Life and Death of Adam Cullen, won the Nib Prize for Literature and was shortlisted for the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards and the Walkley Book Award.

The Saturday Paper generously supports Future Forums as the Media Partner for this series.
