Starting in lower car park meeting at 5pm by the 6 red rocks outside the public toilets, we will begin our meetup with a welcome, a warm up and group attunement by the river, before setting off up the goats trail for a walk up to the top of the trial while the sun sets over the City.

The first part of the walk will be in silent contemplation, navigating the trail at a steady pace.

We will stop near to the top of the trail to have a 15 minute - 30 minute yoga and meditation, hold a short ceremony, looking out over the city and sharing stories or anything we want to release into the fire that you no longer need. There will be time for you to consider a positive resolution or affirmation to connect with and focus on.

As dusk draws in, we will continue up to the lookout circle at the top of the trail for an evening snack (BYO) and gathering, before making our way back down with the use of headlamps and the light of the full moon and trek leader for guidance. The route down follows a slightly different course, walking back along the river and the pilgrims trail. The walk down will facilitate open discussion and sharing with others that wish to, following the evening of self-reflection and connecting with nature.

What to bring?
- a torch or head lamp
- a towel (or small yoga mat)
- enough water for 3 hours of walking and meditation
- comfortable loose clothing incl. closed shoes
- mosquito repellent (deet free please guys)
- a small plastic trash bag
- a hat with a flynet (if you think flies will distract you whilst walking and meditating)
- a light jacket

Having the full moon shine on your Bindu chakra (top/back of the skull) can also be beneficial, and so hats and fly nets are sometimes not necessary but optional. Similarly, walking sticks will give you support but will ultimately transfer the weight to other body parts and exercise joints differently, so be aware that both using a walking stick and not using one will both offer different useful experiences. The trek includes, steep climbs and declines which can be difficult for some people on the knees and ankles. Proper consideration for the appropriateness of the trek for your health should be given before booking.

Our events are open to adults over the age of 18 and children over 13 years old, when accompanied by a legal parent or guardian, who is at least 18 years of age.

There is plenty of free parking in the car bays nearby to the meeting point. Due to the location of the event, is advisable to travel by car to our event.
