Event description
Join Marissa Verma to discuss historic events that have impacted Aboriginal people.

About this Event

NAIDOC theme this year is Always Was and Always Will Be, so join us for a walk through a timeline of events that occurred in this country that impacted Aboriginal people (eg. The 1905 Act, 1967 Referendum and Stolen Generation). As we move forwards together in these trying times, find out how you can arm yourself with knowledge and join the journey into a better understanding of Aboriginal people and their culture. There will be lots of opportunities for questions and discussion.

The workshop will run for 1.5hrs and a light supper will be served afterwards. Please advise us of any dietary requirements. Marissa has completed the AHA Hospitality and Tourism COVID-19 Hygiene Course.
