Description

From the Bush to Blockchain
Thurs 24th August

Join us for the bitfwd.xyz curated series of Blockchain workshops. Hear directly from the people creating the future. Each fortnight we feature a different early stage Blockchain startup.

What Will You Learn?

Be introduced to the philosophical problems and opportunities blockchain can potentially address.

Over the night we will discuss how the structure and nature of blockchain allows the problems to be approached and begin an introduction to smart contracts. The night will end with demonstrations and hands on coding.

Our Speaker:

Darryl Morris grew up as an 80's kid in rural Australia, hugely optimistic that he can program his 4kb Commodore Vic 20 to be his sentient friend. Darryl became interested in Bitcoin in '09 after a colourful career as a network engineer. He is currently an independent Ethereum developer, actively involved in the blockchain community.

Check out our previous events and get insight into why Blockchain is so hot right now. Pizza and beer will be provided on the night with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. No previous knowledge or experience in blockchain is needed to get involved and have a great night.
