Event description
Let your little ones curiosity, imagination and love of worms grow as we go beneath their feet discover and meet our 'friends underground'

About this Event

Foodweb Education with the support of City of Hobart has partnered with the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens to bring you and your children a FREE interactive and immersive workshop in the Community Food Garden. Aimed at 2-5 year olds, participants and their carer's will get to explore and connect to the hidden world beneath their feet through music, dance, drawing, investigation and play.

There will be a worm song, dance and tunnel and of course you will have the opportunity to meet real worms as you learn all about the benefits of these and other soil creatures. Join our minibeast orchestra and recreate your investigations in clay or our compostable mural.

The session will be followed by a shared morning tea in the gardens so bring some fruit or other finger food and come and make some friends above and under ground.

Places are limited so book your tickets NOW for this FREE event.
