Friday Night Bible Talk – Youth Dinner & Connection in Glebe
Overview
Friday Night Bible Talk – Youth Gathering in Glebe
Looking for something meaningful to do on Friday night? Join us for Friday Night Bible Talk – Youth at 6 Darghan Street, Glebe, every Friday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This is not your typical formal church service. Think of it more as a relaxed evening where you can enjoy a good meal, connect with real people your age, and explore life’s big questions in a down‑to‑earth way.
What to Expect
Each Friday kicks off with dinner provided for everyone. Sharing food around the table has always been one of the best ways to break the ice, and this is where the night starts. You can come just as you are, grab a plate, and meet other young people who are also looking for a warm community and deeper conversation.
After dinner, we gather for an engaging Bible talk that applies to everyday life. The focus is practical, not complicated. We discuss topics like purpose, relationships, hope, challenges, and how to live with meaning in today’s world. It is interactive, open to questions, and created to spark real conversations instead of one‑way lectures.
The best part is the atmosphere. There is no pressure, no routine rituals, and no expectations for anyone to fit into a particular mould. You do not need to ask, “What kind of church is this?” because we are not about labels or categories. We are simply about people coming together, enjoying each other’s company, and discovering timeless truths in a modern setting.
Who Can Come?
This weekly youth gathering is for anyone from high school age through young adults who wants to find friendships, explore faith, or simply have a good time on a Friday night without spending money on expensive dinners or crowded venues. Whether you are completely new to the Bible, curious about spirituality, or already walking in faith, you will feel welcome.
Why Come on a Friday Night?
- Because community is better than scrolling through another Friday night alone.
- Because dinner is on us, so all you need to bring is yourself.
- Because you will meet people your age who are genuine, real, and fun.
- Because you will leave encouraged and maybe even with a fresh perspective on life.
This event is designed to be a weekly anchor point at the end of your school or work week. Instead of finishing the week drained, you can start your weekend connected, uplifted, and refreshed.

Dinner & Connection
Dinner is served at 7:00 PM sharp, making it the perfect way to start the night. It is more than just a meal, it is a relaxed space to sit down, share good food, and connect with people your age. Whether you are coming with friends or on your own, dinner is the moment where conversations begin, laughter flows, and new friendships are formed before we move into the Bible talk. It is the ideal chance to meet like‑minded people, unwind after the week, and feel at home right from the start.
Bible Study and Discussion
From 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, we have our Bible discussion. This is a time where we open the Scriptures together, share and read through many verses, and reflect on their meaning. The discussion is interactive, often centred on a key topic, with space for everyone to contribute their thoughts and questions. It is not a lecture but a group conversation that encourages honest dialogue, practical insight, and deeper understanding of how the Bible relates to everyday life.
Games and making friends
After the Bible discussion, the evening continues with games, fun, and great conversation. This time is all about relaxing, laughing, and connecting with new friends in a casual setting. Each week brings something different—sometimes it’s a lively game of Uno, other times it might be a group challenge or another favourite. The focus is on having a good time together, building friendships, and enjoying an informal space where everyone feels welcome to join in.
