Event description

Description

The Embassy of France in Australia warmly invites you to attend a French Embassy Day for university students, as part of the ANU Embassy Day series.

This event will take place at the Embassy of France from 4pm until 5:30pm on 3 August 2017. If you will be shortly departing Australia for a program of study in France or you are interested in undertaking a mobility experience to France in the future, come along to find out useful information about the French higher education system, travel advice, cultural similarities and differences, and practical tips such as visa and immigration procedures, the cost of living, how to open a bank account, finding accommodation, health and safety advice and information about the transport system.

For students who have just arrived in Australia from France to undertake a program of study within a university, we will be providing information about the differences between the French and Australian education system, information about how you can connect with the Embassy during your time in Australia, and information about the French mission in Australia and the public service.

Additionally, this will be an opportunity for both French and Australian students to meet and exchange information about what it is like to study and live in France and Australia, and to develop new connections and network.

RSVP is essential for this event by 27 July, and places are limited. For any questions about the event please contact education.canberra-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr.

We look forward to seeing you on the day!
