Did you know that up to a third of the waste in your red lidded garbage bin is food waste? Come along to this free workshop and learn how you can keep food waste out of your red lidded bin and recycle it into nutrient rich compost and liquid fertiliser. You will learn the basics of backyard composting and worm farming, and the resulting benefits for your garden.
Location and Parking: Thompson Hall, Balcombe Heights Estate. A map will be provided to registrants prior to the workshop. Parking is available outside the hall.
Important Information: You will be eligible for either a free compost bin or worm farm for your attendance. Please note that each household is only eligible for either one free compost bin or worm farm. This offer is only available to residents of The Hills Shire.
