Description

NB: This event is for St Paul's Anglican Grammar School & Neighbouring Schools students, parents and teachers only

Not only is UCAT a significantly faster (1-hour shorter) and more intense test (99 more questions) than the UMAT, the 2-hour test is weighted the SAME in the eyes of medical school selectors as your VCEs. After helping just under 2,000 students prepare for the UCAT, with almost 400 students receiving 96th percentile or above, iCanMed is excited to invite you to our free workshop that aims to help you learn the best preparation strategies, now.

Michael Tsai, iCanMed's Co-founder, will be taking this 2-hour workshop to run through the following:

  1. What makes UCAT different to any other test, its format, and trends in results for the past two years
  2. How questions are MEANT to be solved - live demonstrations of UCAT question types found in the 2019 exam
  3. The best preparation strategy that is efficient, effective, not requiring students to attempt thousands of questions and mock exams
  4. An ultimate timeline of when to start and what to do to maximise your preparation efforts.

iCanMed is all about making sure that all students receive the best advice, recommendations and strategies for UCAT preparation. With over 2000 past students currently studying medicine across medical schools in NZ and Australia, as well as a team of assessment writers, educators and former medical school selectors, learning about the UCAT and gaining acceptance has never been this straightforward.
