Who should attend?

This workshop series is designed for QUT students from the Faculty of Education with an interest in:

a. the emergent area of entrepreneurship education in primary and secondary schools;

b. how to create innovation in education; and/or

c. developing a business idea in the education industry.

Preliminary Program

Week 1: What is a startup? How does a startup compare with other types of entrepreneurial activity? Why would someone choose to pursue each type of entrepreneurship?

Week2: Techniques for identifying enterpreneurial ideas. What makes a successful startup? The importance of diverse teams.

Week 3: Introduction to entrepreneurship principles.

Week 4: How to start an innovation? Guest speakers from Brisbane schools.

Registration

One workshop per week, for four weeks. Please register for all four workshop sessions.
