Online Mindful Self-Compassion Practice

Your most important relationship is with yourself!

You are welcome to join us for an Online Mindful Self-Compassion Practice, Morning Session. The sessions are offered to anyone who would like to come together to find calm and balance. The Mindful Self-Compassion Practice Sessions are offered to support your meditation practice. These are challenging times when we are all experiencing a roller coaster of emotions.

The 60-minute practice session will consist of two light mindfulness and self-compassion meditations, where you will be guided to find self-kindness, calm and balance. Beginners as well as others who are more experienced in mindful self-compassion are welcome.

Wherever you are in the world, we would like for you to join us, to connect, to be part of a worldwide community of like-minded people.

Each session will consist of a short introduction, followed by a guided meditation of 20 minutes. During the session, you will have the options to share your direct experience arising from this meditation. If time allows, we will present a second short informal practice where you will be further invited to comment. We will close with an inspiring short poem or quote.

Living better with mindfulness and self-compassion

Numerous studies over the last 30 years have shown the benefits of mindfulness, self-compassion and meditation. Typically, individuals who take on meditation and informal practices of mindfulness and self-compassion are more emotionally stable and have better control of their mood and behaviours. They are more able to handle stress throughout the day and to relax before bedtimes. Because they are more present, they can make the most of their lives as it is; bounce from the difficulties and enjoy the good moments. Mindful self-compassion meditation practices increase the capacity for happiness in us all.

The Online Mindful Self-Compassion practice session will be led by Marie Bloomfield, psychologist and mindful self-compassion certified teacher.
