Event description

Description

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATIONS TO VISIT SYDNEY OBSERVATORY ARE NOW BOOKED OUT FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY*

Due to capacity limitations at the Observatory we can only guarantee entry for pre-registered ticket holders.

*The arrangements for the weekend have changed, shifting from being a day time event to a night time only offer, from 5:30pm to 10:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday evenings. We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.

Luckily, winter is a great time to view the Southern night sky and we are able to offer free stargazing on the lawns of Sydney Observatory, from 5:30pm to 10:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Telescopes will be placed on the lawns, expert guides will be on hand to tour the night sky with you and answer any questions and warm food and drinks will be available for purchase. Please be sure to wear warm clothing as it is likely to be cold outside.

Catering

Sit back on the lawn and enjoy our BBQ, refreshments and more onsite options throughout the night. Please note that all stalls accept CASH ONLY.
