Free Mental Health First Aid Training for Carers Springwood QLD
Overview
Join us for your Free Mental Health First Aid Accreditation Training. This is a Blended Online and 1-day in person event at the Champion Health Clinic Springwood, on Saturday the 24th of January. This training is designed to equip our carers and parents with the necessary skills to provide support to both adults and young people experiencing mental health challenges. The training will cover topics such as identifying warning signs, providing initial help, and guiding people to appropriate resources.
Please arrive by 9.15am on Saturday to ensure a prompt start at 9:30am. Please bring lunch or buy it on-site. Registration is required to attend - enroll now to secure your spot! You will be required to complete approx 3 - 5 hours of video learning prior to the day. Your instructor will send this learning to you before the event.
In addition to the MHFA training you will also recieve some support with some focus on self care, stress managment and having safe conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
Please note this is a funded training program for carers, this is someone caring for someone at home with a physical disability of mental health concern.
