Description

2018 is the year to discover all the joys of sustainable gardening! Curtin University will be rolling out a series of FREE garden themed workshops and tours at the Bentley campus throughout the year. The meeting spot for all workshops and tours will be at the Green Garden Cube in the University's Atkinson Forum, and all materials will be provided for you to use and keep for free, but of course, you can still bring your own in if you prefer. Students, staff and the wider community are all invited to come along! Please refer to the schedule below:

  • Tuesday 27 Febraury – Garden Walking Tour (12.30pm - 1.30pm)

  • Tuesday 13 March – Successful Succulents Workshop (12.00pm - 2.00pm)

  • Tuesday 10 April – Potted Plants Workshop (12.00pm - 2.00pm)

  • Tuesday 8 May – Creating Your Own Native Garden (12.00pm - 2.00pm)

  • Tuesday 31 July – Garden Walking Tour (12.30pm - 1.30pm)

  • Tuesday 14 August – Plant Doctor Workshop (12.00pm - 2.00pm)

  • Tuesday 11 September - Start Your Own Veggie Patch Workshop (12.00pm - 2.00pm)

  • Tuesday 9 October - Successful Succulents Workshop (12.00pm - 2.00pm)

All tours and workshop are FREE for students, staff and Perth’s wider community. No registration required, just come along on the day.
