Event description

Description

Celebrate life with your family on a fun-filled day at Camp Cooby. Book now for the Family Fun Day on Sunday 10th June 2018.

The Family Fun Day includes our trained and experienced team facilitating onsite activities such as rock climbing, Giants Ladder, Canoeing, Rafting, Bush Walking, and even Bush Dancing with one of the best bush bands in Queensland! *

Our Director, Chris Mills, is raising funds for a Domestic and Family Violence charity which creates amazing educational programs in schools and workplaces. The Camp Cooby team have gratefully donated their time and facilities so you can get together with your family for a good clean outdoor adventure.

Yes, this event is FREE for you and your family. Grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren are all welcome. You must however register in advance and we only ask that you donate what you can to support this great charity cause. Donations are accepted online via EventBrite and also via cash donations on the day of the event.

Our special guests include Jacque Lachmund, the CEO of Australia's CEO Challenge who will be present on the day to talk about what educational programs they deliver across Australia to support people affected by domestic and family violence in our schools and workplaces.

Gates open at 10am to commence activities with a bush dance at sunset. A BBQ dinner will be available to purchase and all proceeds will be donated to charity.

We thank you in advance for your support of this great cause.

* Please note specific activities on the day are subject to change and are weather dependent
