WELCOME

At Ringwood RSL (16 Station Street, Ringwood VIC 3134), on the evening of each session, our dedicated volunteers will warmly welcome all participants to the Falun Dafa workshop. From the very beginning, we strive to create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to engage with the practice. Whether you are joining for the first time or returning after previous weeks, you will be introduced to our Falun Dafa teaching volunteers present on the evening. After a brief introduction and cordial greetings, the session will begin.

Introduction to Falun Dafa and Brief Demonstration

Brief Introduction & Demonstration

Each weekly session at Ringwood RSL will begin with a short introduction to Falun Dafa, highlighting its core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Participants will learn how this practice supports mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. For those new to the practice, we will also touch on the origins of Falun Dafa, its growth into a worldwide practice, and the many benefits people have experienced, including stress relief, improved health, and personal growth. Following the introduction, our volunteers will demonstrate 1 to 5 sets of Falun Dafa exercises, depending on the learners’ situation each evening. These demonstrations show the gentle, slow, and meditative nature of the movements. Volunteers will also explain the purpose of each exercise, so participants—whether attending once or returning over several weeks—can understand and experience how the practice cultivates inner calm, energy, and resilience.
