How do I know that my process will be confidential during the breathwork?

Laurel holds a strong container regarding safety and confidentiality.  And, these agreements are outlined at the commencement of all group sessions. The session is NEVER recorded, and all non-video participants will be removed from the group including participants not participating in the breathwork

I've never done breathwork before, what style of breathwork will we be doing?

Accepted Answer

Laurel's training is Clarity Breathwork 400+hrs Level 5 Facilitator and she is also Certified with GPBA. The breath is silent and gentle conscious and connected without any pauses between breaths, so the breathing actually becomes circular. Each session begins with a demonstration to the group.

Is it normal to have a cathartic process?

Accepted Answer

Catharsis is not really beneficial in breathwork, in fact that energy will encourage the feelings and emotions responsible (root causes) to be driven deeper into the body cells. It is typical to feel the release of 'old' energies as sensations such as tingling sensations moving through the body.

How is the space held?

Accepted Answer

All participants need to have their video on so that Laurel can guide them in their process. Using earbuds and headphones is very beneficial for the participant as having Laurels voice directly into the ear canal enhances the experience of being held in safe and sacred space.

Question 5

How do I book in for 1:1/private breathwork sessions?

Accepted Answer

It's beneficial to have a series of breathwork, usually 5 or 10 sessions fairly close together, especially to help move through trauma, and causes of anxiety. Private sessions allow a deeper consultation process, Laurel has >30yrs in wellness. Special rates at www.heartbreathawakening.com.au
