Event description
Join us for a FrankTALK with bestselling and award winning author, Jessica Sanders to discuss her latest children’s book, Be Your Own Man.

About this Event

From the bestselling and award winning author of Love Your Body comes Be Your Own Man.

Jessica Sanders invites boys to broaden their ideas about what it means to be a boys, supporting them to feel free and proud to be who they truly are. Because a world where everyone feels free to be themselves is a safer and better world for all.

Every boy deserves to feel free to express their emotions and be completely themselves without apology. Be Your Own Man encourages boys and men to embrace their vulnerability and put their hand up for help.

Our current definition of what it means to be male is hurting boys and men. Research shows that men are three times more likely to die by suicide than women and are far less likely to seek help for mental health conditions.

Boys have inherited an outdated story around what it means to be male, Be Your Own Man gives them permission to rewrite that story and embrace a new masculine identity that feels right for them.

Please join us for this important FrankTALK with Jessica Sanders at 12.30pm on Wednesday 28 October, via Zoom. Bookings are essential.
