FOUNDATIONS OF PRAYER MINISTRY | Semester 1 - with Bev Loft

Over two Semesters in 2026, we are offering the FOUNDATIONS FOR PRAYER MINISTRY training and equipping course.

This ticket will be for SEMESTER 1 - one class per month on a Thursday at 7 pm - 9 pm

Course Description

This course will equip believers to confidently participate in prayer ministry with wisdom, humility, and love. We will examine different prayer models, styles, and approaches, and learn how to incorporate these skill sets into prayer ministry time. This will help us grow in discerning how to minister effectively to the many varied needs presented to us.

The course focuses on listening to God, honouring people, maintaining healthy boundaries, and ministering safely and wisely within a church context. Emphasis is placed on spiritual formation, discernment, and sustainability in ministry rather than on techniques or outcomes alone. This is not intended to be counselling training, but rather to equip us with the skills to partner with and pray with the power and presence of the wonderful Counsellor Himself as His prayer ministers.

About Bev Loft-

Bev has been actively involved in Prayer Ministry alongside Phil and Maria Mason for 30 years. She is a trained Counsellor who advocates for people to step into wholeness as they journey deeper into their heart transformation.

Bev has overseen the Prayer Ministry at Tribe Church and has been involved in training and equipping the prayer team in healing ministry. She also taught for several years at Tribe’s Ministry Training Schools, specialising in Heart Culture and the School of Transformation.

Over the years, Bev has deepened her knowledge and skills by learning from and drawing on many established inner healing models. She is currently growing her own Prayer Counselling ministry, with a mandate to partner prophetically with the Holy Spirit to see the broken-hearted healed and restored. Bev is excited to teach and share some of these skills and wisdom with others who share the same passion and calling.
