Have you ever thought about fostering a child?

In MOUNT GAMBIER and surrounding towns, we are seeking compassionate people to share their home, heart and time with a child as full-time or weekend foster carers.

Whether you are married, single, a same-sex couple, working or retired, with or without children of your own, we need people like you to show a child what home really means - a place to feel safe, cared for and to belong.

If you have experience in the education, childcare, health or community services sector, or simply have a strong passion for helping vulnerable children, please join us for a free face-to-face information session to find out what's involved in becoming a foster carer.

We will cover the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support and training you will receive from Life Without Barriers.
