Fossil Safari at Point Addis
Overview
Join us to unravel the mysteries of the past and discover fossilized remains of marine life that lived many millions of years ago. Find out how our cliffs and sandy beaches are formed and discover how the coastline has changed over time. As well as finding real marine fossils in the cliffs, participants will make their own ‘fossils’ to take home.
What to bring:
- sun protection (e.g. hats and sunscreen)
- weather protection (e.g. warm clothes/raincoats)
- insect protection
- Shoes that can get wet, e.g. old runners, Crocs, or wetsuit shoes/ booties (bare feet and thongs are not acceptable)
- water bottle
Age restrictions:
- Ages 5 and over
- A guardian must accompany children under the age of 16.
- Please be advised that every person attending this event (including adult accompanying child) must have a ticket to attend the event.
